Salary: $210,000–$234,000

What you will do

• Lead the software test infrastructure team and define department-wide testing policies.
• Develop automated reporting techniques and metrics to drive measurable improvements in test health.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Manufacturing teams to expand Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing capabilities.
• Integrate simulation tools into automated testing campaigns.
• Mentor engineers within the Test and Simulation teams.
• Work with management to improve team planning, estimation, and alignment with company goals.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person or eligible for export authorization (ITAR/EAR compliance).
• Must be based in San Jose, CA.
• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer in a team environment.
• Proven ability to deliver department-scale testing procedures and infrastructure.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, Linux, and Docker.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C/C++.
• Experience with Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation.
• Fluency in statistical analysis.
• Experience in aerospace, robotics, or autonomous vehicle testing.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud deployment environments.
