What you will do

• Evaluate and optimize operational processes to drive productivity and efficiency.
• Lead pilot process implementations and provide oversight for scaling new technologies.
• Manage projects including scope definition, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes.
• Conduct professional evaluations of manufacturing equipment and system additions.
• Provide direct or indirect management and guidance to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering within a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Proven expertise in steel fabrication processes such as welding, cutting, forming, and machining.
• Experience with automation, robotics integration, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with pilot plant operations, prototyping, or R&D environments.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems, simulation tools, and digital twin technology.
• Knowledge of business financials and entrepreneurial experience.
• Proficiency with CAD and data analysis tools.
