What you will do

• Lead daily production, post-processing, and logistics operations at the Knoxville facility.
• Manage and develop a team of 15+ employees, including two Operations Supervisors.
• Optimize additive manufacturing capabilities (LPBF and MBJ) from print readiness through final inspection.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Ensure strict adherence to EHS, quality, and regulatory standards for aerospace and defense environments.
• Track and report key performance metrics including yield, equipment utilization, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on advanced or additive manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams in a production or manufacturing engineering setting.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with CAD software (NX, SolidWorks) and ERP systems.
• Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive measurable improvements.

Nice to have

• Hands-on or applied experience with metal additive manufacturing processes such as LPBF and/or MBJ.
