What you will do

• Perform calculations and design intermediate building systems with minimal supervision.
• Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and system layouts.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to project plans and specifications.
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.
• Collaborate with project teams and provide technical guidance to less experienced designers.
• Support project management tasks including coordination, scheduling, and client communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural) with 3 years of experience, or 6 years of experience with a high school diploma.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Intermediate proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn various systems and processes.
• Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work in a highly collaborative team environment.

Nice to have

• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Relevant certifications such as RCDD, NICET, CPD, or LEED/WELL accreditations.
• Experience with diverse project types in business, community, or retail sectors.
