Solution Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Define end-to-end solution architectures across application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
• Translate business requirements into reference architectures and target-state designs.
• Lead architecture reviews and establish technology principles, standards, and reusable patterns.
• Design integrations across SaaS, on-premises, and hybrid environments using APIs, event streaming, and managed integration platforms.
• Guide cloud migration, modernization, re-platforming, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Mentor engineering teams, collaborate with vendors, and ensure compliance, audit, and data governance requirements are met.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, event-driven architectures, identity, security, and enterprise data governance.
• Deep familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, or another major enterprise platform.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, architecture documentation, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture certifications.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or HCM transformation programs.
• Exposure to financial services, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with LeanIX, Ardoq, Sparx EA, cloud governance, FinOps, or cost transparency initiatives.
