Principal Technical Consultant - Network & Security Solution Architect

Location: United States; remote

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year in on-target earnings, including base salary and any applicable target bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and design of large-scale network and security solutions across data center, WAN/LAN, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Assess requirements, define solutions, and align designs with enterprise standards, compliance frameworks, and strategic objectives.
• Delegate work to and guide small engineering teams while overseeing multiple concurrent workstreams, dependencies, priorities, and risks.
• Provide technical governance and quality assurance from initial design through deployment, validation, and optimization.
• Develop, review, and present high-level and detailed architectural designs to technical and executive audiences.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex network and security challenges and influence decisions in client meetings, architecture reviews, and steering committees.

Requirements

• WAN/LAN, network, and cloud expertise, including Azure.
• Ability to architect, design, and deliver enterprise solutions.
• Consultative and leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with network and security technologies and vendor ecosystems such as Arista, Cisco, and Palo Alto.
