TL;DR

New Business Developer Lead (Tech & Durables): Driving organic growth and expanding the client portfolio for small and medium businesses in the T&D industry with an accent on retail measurement data and customized research solutions. Focus on executing end-to-end sales processes, identifying upselling opportunities, and building sustainable partnerships within the Belgian market.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Leuven office (Belgium)

Salary: €35,400–€50,000 gross per year

What you will do

  • Own and exceed individual revenue targets through proactive lead generation and client acquisition.
  • Identify and convert upselling opportunities for retail measurement data and customized services.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from feasibility analysis and pricing to proposal writing and closing.
  • Develop pragmatic engagement plans for key prospects and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment and successful market entry for new products.
  • Monitor sales progress using CRM tools and adjust strategies to meet quarterly and annual goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
  • Proven sales experience with strong commercial and relationship management skills.
  • Language proficiency: Must be fluent in at least two of the following: Dutch, English, or French.
  • Good understanding of the dynamics of the Belgian Tech & Durables business.
  • Familiarity with retail tracking business services and market research.
  • Ability to build and maintain a professional network among assigned clients and prospects.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Market Research and/or T&D Trade/Category management.
