Senior Electrical Safety

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands. Hybrid work with a maximum of one day from home.

What you will do

• Act as the Nominated Person (Installatieverantwoordelijke) responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and modification of electrical installations.
• Maintain the Electrical Safety Management System and oversee authorization of QEW/IEW roles and competency frameworks for electrical safety roles.
• Ensure correct LOTO implementation, electrical-area access control, and safe maintenance, inspection, and handover activities.
• Approve high-risk electrical assessments and align standards for machines, utilities, and low-voltage systems.
• Coordinate electrical safety audits, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned.
• Report on electrical safety performance, deliver training, and advise Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and Corporate EHS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in high-tech or industrial electrical safety.
• Strong knowledge of Industrial Standards Low Voltage, including NEN 3140 and NEN 1010, and the Machine Directive.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and responsibility-taking skills.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of High Voltage standard NEN 3840.
• BEI certificate for Low Voltage and/or High Voltage.
