Consultant / Senior Consultant Electrical Engineering (F/M/X)

Location: The Hague, Netherlands; approximately 15% travel to project and supplier locations

What you will do

• Design and deliver prefabricated modular substations, E-Houses, and electrical skids for international data centre projects.
• Own assigned electrical engineering packages from design review through manufacturing support and technical closeout.
• Verify electrical distribution systems, equipment selections, layouts, drawings, and customer interfaces.
• Investigate issues involving components, cabling, termination kits, earthing, grounding, and equipment integration.
• Coordinate with factories, suppliers, lead engineers, procurement, sales, project teams, and other departments.
• Review specifications, assembly procedures, commissioning plans, inspection requirements, and test documentation; support FAT and FWT activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 4–10 years of relevant experience in industrial power systems, modular construction, substations, E-Houses, electrical skids, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of LV and MV distribution systems, transformers, UPS systems, protection, cabling, terminations, and earthing or grounding.
• Experience verifying electrical designs, coordinating technical interfaces, reviewing engineering documentation, and supporting manufacturing, inspections, FAT, FWT, commissioning, or handover.
• Strong spoken and written English; Dutch is beneficial.
• EU work authorisation or an EU passport is required. Visa sponsorship is not available. A valid driving licence and willingness to travel are also required.
