Service Technician (Offshore Wind)

Location: IJmuiden, Noord-Holland, Netherlands; offshore work at the Hollandse Kust Noord wind farm with a 7-days-on/7-days-off rotation

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and servicing on offshore wind turbine generators and associated systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults to minimize turbine downtime.
• Replace major components and carry out retrofits and upgrades according to technical and quality specifications.
• Follow zero-harm safety protocols, offshore safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Record maintenance activities, service logs, and parts usage in the computerized maintenance management system.

Requirements

• Vocational degree at MBO-3 or MBO-4 level in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Completed technical apprenticeship or internship in a relevant industrial field.
• 0–2 years of experience in wind energy, industrial maintenance, or maritime operations.
• Certifications in GWO Basic Safety Training, GWO Basic Technical Training, VCA Safety, and NEN 3140 Electrical Safety.
• Technical skills in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, and wind turbine generator diagnostics.
• Availability for a 7-days-on/7-days-off rotational shift and offshore work is required.
