Junior Buyer

TL;DR

Junior Buyer (Procurement): Managing end-to-end transactional buying and sourcing activities with an accent on supplier compliance, purchase order accuracy, and process efficiency. Focus on analyzing requisitions, resolving procurement issues, and securing optimal terms for non-contracted items within a multinational environment.

Location: Must be able to work onsite 2x a week in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines.

What you will do

• Process purchasing requests and allocate them to suppliers according to established SLAs and policies.
• Manage the sourcing process, including requisition analysis and enforcement of preferred supplier strategies.
• Ensure product and service alignment with UNSPSC codes and catalog information in the SRM system.
• Resolve first-line issues by engaging with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Handle order follow-up tasks such as PO acknowledgments, monitoring, and blocked invoice resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or bid evaluation.
• Proficiency in SAP-ERP, SRM, or comparable systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Amenable to working onsite 2x a week in BGC, Taguig City.
• Willingness to work on a day-shift schedule.

• Negotiation experience and international logistics expertise.
• Supplier management experience involving foreign incoterms.
• Previous experience working in multinational companies.
