What you will do

• Respond to product sourcing requests from the sales team by identifying optimal options across domestic and overseas suppliers.
• Evaluate product fit based on aesthetic, demographic, and use-case requirements rather than just category matching.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive supplier knowledge base to streamline future sourcing efforts.
• Conduct market research to stay ahead of fashion trends and retail aesthetics.
• Proactively identify and solve product gaps to improve sales conversion and margins.
• Support outreach to new manufacturers and suppliers to expand product categories.

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or buying.
• Strong background in American fashion and apparel with the ability to identify trends and specific product details.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate product fit by customer demographic.
• Strong research instincts and proficiency with CRM systems and spreadsheets.
• Must be available to work 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.

Nice to have

• Background in fashion buying, retail merchandising, or product sourcing.
• Familiarity with wholesale apparel suppliers and overseas platforms like Alibaba.
