TL;DR

Manager of Partnerships (Healthcare): Build and strengthen referral relationships between healthcare systems, hospitals, physicians, and community/criminal justice partners with an accent on referral development, territory planning, and referral process optimization. Focus on tracking referral data, aligning sales and operations priorities, and meeting KPIs through in-person and virtual outreach while ensuring HIPAA/STARK compliance.

Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN (50% remote, 50% travel within the greater Minneapolis area)

Salary: $85,000 - 100,000 + bonus structure

What you will do

  • Develop new referral relationships and nurture existing ones by establishing clinical credibility and communicating BHG’s value proposition.
  • Track and analyze referral data to identify trends, measure performance, and optimize referral strategies.
  • Coordinate with regional operations leaders to align priorities and synchronize sales and operations for referral success.
  • Grow referrals and admissions by presenting key service lines, activating referral pathways, and achieving minimum KPIs.
  • Partner with intake coordinators, clinical staff, and operations to ensure a seamless referral process aligned to business goals.
  • Maintain CRM documentation and records, submit documentation within 24–48 hours, and prepare quarterly strategic plans for top accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing or Business degree preferred.
  • 5 (five) combined years of healthcare, business sales and/or clinical experience in private, public, government, or military environments.
  • Proven experience in healthcare referral development with strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to operate in ambiguity; entrepreneurial mindset to build from scratch.
  • Ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses; strong problem-solving and creative skills.
  • Must comply with federal/state/local regulations and healthcare referral laws (including HIPAA and STARK).
