Tech Sales Specialist (Protein XI, Biopharma/CRO)

Location: North Carolina, USA — field-based with travel up to 60% to customer sites, conferences, and internal meetings

Annual base salary: $88,100–$134,400, with potential additional bonus compensation.

What you will do

• Drive ProteinXI revenue growth across existing MSD customer relationships and new biopharma and CRO accounts.
• Develop territory strategy and build an independent sales pipeline within discovery-focused accounts.
• Lead complex sales motions from opportunity development through deal execution.
• Collaborate with MSD sales teams, Field Application Scientists, and Inside Sales Account Managers.
• Travel frequently to customer sites, conferences, and internal meetings, including occasional laboratory environments.

Requirements

• Experience in technical sales involving biopharma, CRO, or related life science customers.
• Ability to develop territory strategy, pipeline, and customer relationships.
• Ability to communicate effectively and execute complex sales processes.
• Ability to work in a field-based North Carolina role and travel up to 60%.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required; employment eligibility is validated through E-Verify.
