Industrial Operations Specialist (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead and support initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, Lean Manufacturing, and operational excellence.
• Develop process documentation, standard work, and operating procedures.
• Coordinate operational projects from planning through implementation.
• Support production planning, workflow optimization, resource utilization, and equipment evaluation.
• Monitor performance metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, process improvement, production, project management, or continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable improvements.
• Ability to work directly on the manufacturing floor and collaborate with employees at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence principles.
