Manufacturing Engineer (Continuous Improvement)

Location: Selmer, Tennessee, United States; onsite. Travel required: 10% domestic and international. Candidates must already have US work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global.

hirify.global's Distribution Solutions Division develops products and solutions for reliable power distribution, protection, and control, including medium- and low-voltage electrical equipment.

What you will do

• Support deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for the local organizational unit.
• Mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and improved business results.
• Lead projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost performance.
• Escalate and resolve implementation roadblocks with relevant stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Align local continuous improvement initiatives with hirify.global's global strategy.
• Develop and maintain training modules and toolkits in collaboration with local management.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in mechanical, industrial, or a related discipline preferred; 15 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including leading large projects and purchasing new equipment.
• Experience with project management and a proven record of driving and sustaining change.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Existing US work authorization is required.
• Availability for 10% domestic and international travel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean tools, Kaizen, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Apps.
