What you will do

• Perform hands-on assessment of mechanical hardware, tuning, and testing of hirify.global systems in the factory and at customer sites.
• Set up, tune, and troubleshoot flight simulator applications for new systems and upgrades.
• Customize and configure hardware and software based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Lead the full scope of a project or program and ensure customer needs are met.
• Support in-house engineering work for (upgrade) projects and take the lead in executing FATs and SATs.
• Travel frequently (up to 40% of working time) to install, set up, and test systems, including quick troubleshooting under time pressure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., mechatronics or measurement and controls).
• Knowledge of measurement and control, including control systems and control cabinet hardware.
• Strong control systems engineering understanding of the interaction between mechanical design, electronics, and control software.
• Programming knowledge such as C++ or MATLAB Simulink.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Ability to work onsite in Amsterdam, NL.
