What you will do
- Analyze and prototype hardware mechanisms to detect or correct bit errors on the SMI bus.
- Design digital RTL using SystemVerilog, including FSMs and protocol wrappers.
- Develop fault-injection verification and coverage-driven testbenches.
- Participate in professional chip-design workflows, including code reviews and EDA tool usage.
- Collaborate on reducing software-based workarounds for bus integrity.
Requirements
- Final-year BSc student in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, or Computer Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of digital logic design.
- Familiarity with at least one HDL (Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL).
- Analytical and structured approach to technical trade-offs.
- Ability to read technical English comfortably.
