PLC Engineer (Siemens)

Location: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or the Netherlands. Commissioning may require remote or on-site support.

Salary: €2,525–€4,075 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Develop and modify PLC software for steel and metals downstream and process lines.
• Design control logic, sequences, interlocks, diagnostics, and signal-handling functions.
• Integrate PLC systems with SCADA/HMI and Level 2 platforms, including signals, tags, and handshakes.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and reliable plant operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, including logic descriptions, I/O specifications, change records, and test scenarios.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of PLC engineering experience with the Siemens stack.
• Hands-on experience with TIA Portal, Step7, and S7-300/400/1500 systems.
• Knowledge of IEC 61131-3 languages, including LD, ST, FBD, and SFC.
• Experience with Profinet and Profibus.
• Practical commissioning and troubleshooting experience, with the ability to follow standards and maintain project quality.
• English at Intermediate level or above.
