What you will do

• Lead structural engineering design, coordination, integration, and delivery for an assigned station within the ALTO high-speed rail programme.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and materials for design reviews, permits, and approvals.
• Coordinate structural work with architecture, MEP, utilities, fire and life safety, civil infrastructure, rail systems, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Manage technical governance, design assurance, change control, configuration management, risks, constructability, and discipline performance.
• Support value engineering, procurement packages, construction oversight, technical issue resolution, commissioning, handover, and operational integration.
• Engage with federal, provincial, and municipal authorities, Transport Canada, utilities, and third parties as required.

Requirements

• Accredited degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer designation through OIQ or eligibility for professional registration in Canada.
• 10+ years of experience on major infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Experience designing and delivering rail, metro, or high-speed rail stations in complex, highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of structural and complex building systems, construction documents, specifications, BIM, building systems integration, safety, security, and regulatory frameworks.
• Leadership, decision-making, multidisciplinary synthesis, stakeholder communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and design-team coaching skills.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English and French communication skills.
• Experience with Alliance, PPP, or Design-Build delivery models.
• Experience integrating new infrastructure with existing brownfield systems.
