What you will do
- Define and execute Pipeline BU financial strategy, including resource allocation across the development portfolio.
- Own FP&A execution for R&D: operating plans, budgets, forecasting, variance analysis, and budget execution reporting.
- Lead R&D finance consolidation, data management, reporting, and analytics; deliver cost/ROI/resource-efficiency analysis for investment decisions.
- Track Pipeline financial KPIs and build performance measurement frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage cost control and compliance, including SOX and FCF controls and adherence to Finance standards and clinical trial accounting policies.
- Partner across Pipeline leadership and FP&A colleagues to optimize processes, improve data/reporting alignment, and support external collaboration opportunities.
Requirements
- Must be US-based and able to collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix environment.
- 15+ years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in biotech/pharmaceutical, with experience supporting R&D functions.
- Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, macros, data modeling).
- Expertise in Anaplan (as SME) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
