Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (FP&A/SaaS): Support FP&A activities for a high-growth SaaS business by driving planning, forecasting, reporting, and business insights with an accent on Anaplan IFP/IFS modeling, OpEx/COGS variance analysis, and SaaS metrics (ARR, bookings, churn). Focus on modernizing Finance workflows using automation and responsible AI-enabled tools to improve decision support quality and efficiency.

Location: Mexico City, Mexico (Hybrid; at least 2 days/week in the Mexico City office). Remote candidates will be considered based on qualifications and fit.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day work in Anaplan IFP, building and maintaining models and improving planning workflows for OpEx and COGS.
• Support monthly and quarterly OpEx/COGS reporting, including budget-vs-actual and forecast-vs-actual variance analysis with commentary on business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage headcount and spend planning using Anaplan IFS models that reflect how the business operates.
• Provide secondary support for Product ACV and ARR reporting, tracking bookings and SaaS performance metrics during planning and forecast cycles.
• Prepare concise management reporting and presentation materials translating financial data into actionable insights.
• Use AI-enabled tools responsibly to reduce manual effort in recurring reporting, data validation, and commentary drafting.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Anaplan IFS; Anaplan Certified Model Builder L1 strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis/FP&A (or related), ideally in SaaS or high-growth technology, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, planning concepts, and SaaS metrics such as ARR, bookings, churn, OpEx, and headcount drivers.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial models and large data sets.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using AI tools (including Claude) in practical, responsible ways to improve finance workflows.
