What you will do

• Lead inventory and cost accounting activities, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for inventory, COGS, and reserves.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement to maintain accurate product costing methodologies.
• Analyze purchase price and manufacturing variances to identify operational and financial trends.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for NetSuite inventory and costing functionality.
• Support external audits, internal audits, and SOX compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on inventory and cost accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
• Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP related to inventory and manufacturing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or clinical supply accounting.
• Background in contract manufacturing (CMO/CDMO) environments.
• Experience with FDA-regulated operations and controlled products.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
