Salary: $126,000–$190,000

What you will do
- Research and interpret complex accounting guidance including revenue recognition, leases, and stock-based compensation.
- Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and assess their impact on business operations.
- Provide accounting guidance for non-routine transactions such as acquisitions, restructurings, and financing arrangements.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and support SOX compliance initiatives.
- Review journal entries and reconciliations during month-end close processes.
- Drive process improvements and provide training on new accounting policies to the broader finance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with an active CPA license.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP requirements and technical accounting research.
- Proven ability to document complex accounting positions and manage cross-functional projects.
- Experience working with senior leadership and external auditors.
Nice to have
- Big 4 or national public accounting firm experience.
- Experience in a publicly traded or high-growth company.
- Exposure to ERP systems like Workday and financial reporting tools.
