TL;DR

Software Engineer (Support Automation): Building and modernizing support workflows for a security platform with an accent on automation, agentic AI, and technical troubleshooting. Focus on resolving complex customer issues, developing internal tooling, and improving system reliability through durable engineering practices.

Location: Must be based in the US (Minneapolis, MN HQ)

What you will do

  • Provide technical support for security products, including triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
  • Partner with customers to diagnose issues and drive timely outcomes through tickets and meetings.
  • Identify high-toil tasks and implement agentic and automated processes to improve internal workflows.
  • Maintain a high-quality support knowledge base for both human and AI agent consumption.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to escalate defects and contribute to incident response.
  • Develop documentation patterns and AI guardrails to ensure safe and responsible support automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
  • Foundational software development experience in at least one modern programming language.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical systems in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong skills across web applications, APIs, authentication, and cloud platforms.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity or SaaS products.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, SQL, and observability tooling.
  • Experience with workflow automation or AI/agent-assisted development.
  • Knowledge of AWS and containerized systems.
