What you will do

• Lead complex, transversal projects autonomously from ideation to completion.
• Communicate technical vision and ensure alignment across multiple teams and domains.
• Act as a go-to expert and provide mentorship across the engineering organization.
• Define technical strategies to solve complex, high-impact problems.
• Establish and drive the adoption of best practices in architecture, security, and DevOps.
• Write production-ready code and contribute to software design and system infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in backend development using TypeScript, NodeJS, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
• Deep expertise in system design, security, scalability, and performance.
• Experience leading development of complex projects affecting multiple teams.
• Strong proactive communication skills and ability to collaborate across different roles.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Madrid office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, or Redis.
• Experience with AWS Serverless or EKS.
