What you will do

• Manage facility shift teams to ensure 24/7 site coverage and operational uptime.
• Oversee facility management partners to ensure adherence to service level agreements and contractual obligations.
• Implement and refine maintenance regimes, including MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Lead root cause analysis for operational incidents and report performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards for both internal staff and contractors.
• Represent operations during technical handovers and provide input on maintainability for new data center designs.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany
• 8+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in data centers or critical environments preferred.
• Proven experience in people management and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of the design, maintenance, and operation of critical infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or facility management preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
