Site & Commissioning Engineer (Automation): Ensuring safe and efficient installation and commissioning of AutoStore systems with an accent on site management and technical configuration. Focus on coordinating subcontractors, performing system tests, and managing customer handovers in the DACH region.

Location: Germany (Hybrid). Must be based in Germany and willing to travel across the DACH region.

Salary: from €3,220 per month (x14 per year)

What you will do

• Manage on-site installation and commissioning of AutoStore systems as the primary hirify.global representative.
• Coordinate material deliveries and manage subcontractors to ensure adherence to company and customer standards.
• Configure controllers, IT/hardware systems, and perform comprehensive system and performance tests.
• Lead daily progress reporting and facilitate communication between customers and suppliers.
• Train customer operators and provide technical support during early operations and go-live phases.

Requirements

• Completed training in an electrotechnical profession (e.g., electrician, mechatronics technician).
• Willingness to travel across the DACH region.
• Solid experience in site or project management of automation systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of PLC, CAN bus, and safety regulations is highly desirable.
