TL;DR
Commercial Account Executive (SaaS): Driving new business and managing the full sales cycle for a unified DataOps platform with an accent on prospecting, pipeline development, and strategic solution positioning. Focus on identifying growth opportunities within the commercial segment, delivering technical demonstrations, and collaborating cross-functionally to expand the customer base.
Location: Must be based in New York City and able to work in a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in office).
Salary: Up to $200,000 OTE plus equity.

What you will do
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing deals within the commercial segment.
- Identify, qualify, and engage new customers through outbound and inbound channels.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and craft tailored proposals highlighting platform value.
- Partner with marketing, sales engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless customer success.
- Stay current on data trends and the competitive landscape to effectively position the platform.
- Identify and pursue upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Requirements
- Must be based in NYC and able to work hybrid (3 days/week in office).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in high-growth SaaS environments.
- Experience calling on companies in the commercial segment (up to 1,000 employees).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and sales automation platforms like Apollo.
- Appetite for leveraging AI tools and data automation in sales processes.
Nice to have
- Experience selling to data teams, developers, or technical users.
- Familiarity with data orchestration, analytics, or Apache Airflow.
- Prior success in a startup or fast-growth environment.
