TL;DR

Account Executive (SaaS): Leading prospective customers through the sales funnel from problem identification to closing deals with an accent on consultative selling methodologies. Focus on managing complex sales cycles, building relationships with stakeholders in the public sector, and consistently meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Location: Must be based in the United States. New hires are expected to work onsite at the Columbus, OH office during their first week for onboarding.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 base salary with OTE of $155,000–$175,000.

What you will do

  • Manage a territory within the Public Sector or Commercial markets.
  • Build relationships with potential clients and analyze their operational challenges.
  • Conduct platform demonstrations and educate decision-makers on product value.
  • Negotiate contracts and set expectations for successful implementation.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to manage pipeline and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the SDR team to review prospect notes and key meeting topics.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 2+ years of experience in a selling role, preferably in K-12, Higher Education, or Government sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM and sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with consultative selling methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Sandler, Challenger Selling, or SPIN Selling.
