TL;DR

Global Account Manager (Fintech): Driving revenue and market penetration for enterprise storage infrastructure platforms in the New York/New Jersey region with an accent on managing strategic relationships with financial services clients. Focus on executing competitive take-out campaigns, managing RFP/RFI processes, and collaborating with pre-sales engineers to win business within large enterprise accounts.

Location: Must be based in the New York/New Jersey area with travel to customer sites required.

Salary: $150,000–$210,000

What you will do

  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas within the assigned territory through business partners.
  • Develop and present proposals to prospects and clients, including RFP/RFI responses.
  • Manage tactical and strategic relationships with top executives and key stakeholders.
  • Position platform value and capabilities competitively against market rivals.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales systems engineers to manage customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
  • Execute competitive take-out campaigns using TCO analysis and Proof of Concept (POC) tools.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Proven experience selling to financial services customers in the New York market.
  • Established network and strong understanding of the regional financial industry landscape.
  • Experience working for established storage infrastructure vendors like EMC, IBM, NetApp, or similar.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce for forecasting and relationship management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both executive leadership and technical individual contributors.
