Lead .NET Engineer - Automation Services (.NET/Azure): Building foundational platform services, infrastructure automation, and development tooling for a cloud-native legal data intelligence platform with an accent on scalable architecture, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. Focus on designing secure Azure services, improving developer productivity and platform resilience, and integrating AI/ML capabilities where they enhance platform efficiency.
Location: Kraków; hybrid or remote within Poland
Salary: 270,000–406,000 PLN per year, plus annual performance bonus and long-term incentives

What you will do
- Lead the design and implementation of platform services, infrastructure automation, and development tooling using .NET and Azure.
- Define architectural patterns and standards for cloud-native development, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, staff and principal engineers, and architects on platform strategy.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, code feedback, and technical guidance.
- Lead initiatives that improve developer productivity, platform resilience, operational efficiency, automation, and observability.
- Drive adoption of AI/ML capabilities that improve developer experience or platform efficiency.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in C# and .NET.
- Deep experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking, compute, identity, and automation.
- Experience leading technical projects and setting architectural direction.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Bicep, and CI/CD automation.
- Strong understanding of containers, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and engineering mentorship skills.

- Experience implementing AI/ML tools or practices within developer platforms or infrastructure.
