Senior Business Development Manager (Drones): Leading the go-to-market strategy and system-level sales for NXP’s drone and robotics ecosystem in Eastern Europe with an accent on complex B2B sales cycles and AI-enabled system integration. Focus on driving long-term design wins, expanding strategic partnerships, and translating technical requirements into integrated hardware and software solutions.

Location: Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid work policy available).

What you will do

  • Define and execute the regional business development strategy for the drone and UAV segment.
  • Drive system-level sales by integrating hardware, software, and AI-enabled solutions for OEMs and industrial players.
  • Build and expand the regional ecosystem, including module vendors, design houses, and system integrators.
  • Lead complex design-win cycles from initial identification to final closure.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to influence product roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development or strategic sales.
  • Engineering degree (electronics, embedded systems, telecom, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record in managing complex B2B sales cycles and securing high-value design wins.
  • Strong experience in drones, robotics, aerospace, or embedded systems markets.
  • Experience with AI-enabled systems and edge application integration.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.

Nice to have

  • Experience in system-level selling beyond individual components.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills at the executive level.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
