Paralegal (Fintech)

Location: Remote (Must be based in the USA)

What you will do

• Perform legal research and analysis on various legal issues and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and revise contracts while maintaining contract databases and legal files.
• Support litigation management by preparing discovery, garnishments, subpoenas, and deposition notices.
• Assist the General Counsel with legal strategy and monitoring the efficiency of external law firms.
• Ensure policies and forms comply with applicable laws and provide guidance on employment law and deceased member accounts.
• Manage governance matters and provide legal updates to the Board of Directors and management team.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of legal-related experience in a financial institution, government agency, or law firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe.
• Must be authorized to work in the US to access company benefits (401K, HSA).
• Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
