TL;DR

Associate Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity): Supporting the full pre-sales lifecycle including technical discovery, product demonstrations, and POCs with an accent on DDI, DNS Security, and cloud networking. Focus on mapping customer business challenges to technical solutions using AI-enabled tools and the Value Framework Selling Methodology.

Location: Remote, but must be based in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 plus bonus or commissions

What you will do

  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Lead customer discovery to identify requirements and map them to hirify.global offerings.
  • Support and eventually lead Proof-of-Concept/Value (POC/V) engagements.
  • Own and support responses to RFPs, RFIs, and technical documentation.
  • Apply AI-enabled tools and platforms to accelerate discovery and tailor customer demos.
  • Enable partner technical sales teams on hirify.global solutions and positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Must be based remotely in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (DDI).
  • Practical AI fluency for technical analysis, demo preparation, and solution design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, Ansible).
  • Exposure to Zero Trust, threat intelligence, and DNS-based security.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
  • Prior B2B inside sales experience (SDR/BDR).
