TL;DR
IT Lawyer (International Law & Corporate Support) (Technology Law): Providing legal support across multiple jurisdictions, structuring international client and partner relationships, and drafting complex IT contracts with an accent on intellectual property, corporate administration, and regulatory compliance. Focus on assessing export-control and sanctions risks, implementing GDPR and CCPA policies, and supporting international banking, tenders, and procurement processes.
Location: Lviv, Ukraine; onsite

Software provides software development services and operates with clients and partners across multiple international jurisdictions.
What you will do
- Provide legal support for operations across the USA, United Kingdom, and EU.
- Draft and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, EULAs, distribution agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Manage the transfer and protection of intellectual property rights between developers, the company, and clients.
- Administer foreign legal entities, support corporate changes, and interact with registered agents.
- Assess export-control and sanctions compliance for dual-use technologies and specialized software.
- Implement GDPR and CCPA policies, prepare DPAs, and support international banking, payment-system KYB, product policies, tenders, and procurement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT companies or law firms focused on technology law.
- Higher legal education in Ukraine.
- Strong knowledge of international contract law and differences between Common Law and Civil Law systems.
- English at Upper-Intermediate level (B2+) or higher, including legal writing and negotiations.
- Understanding of export-control principles related to technology transfer and software distribution.
- Experience supporting international tenders and procurement processes.
Nice to have
- LL.M degree or certifications in IT Law.
