TL;DR
Middle Legal Counsel (US/EU Contractual and Intellectual Property Law): Managing contractual matters and legal documentation for US and EU jurisdictions with an accent on contract law, intellectual property, licensing, and regulatory risk assessment. Focus on drafting and negotiating agreements, advising business and delivery stakeholders, and monitoring legislative developments in an international environment.

Location: Ukraine; remote or office work

What you will do

  • Manage contractual matters, related legal processes, and documentation involving US and EU jurisdictions.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Research legal and regulatory risks related to business decisions and operations.
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties on legal and contractual matters.
  • Provide legal guidance to Business, Delivery, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and contribute to improving legal processes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Law with a minimum GPA of 4.5.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Practical knowledge of contract law, intellectual property rights, and licensing.
  • Experience handling legal matters involving US and/or EU jurisdictions.
  • Advanced English proficiency at C1 level.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, integrity, responsibility, attention to detail, flexibility, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • German proficiency at A2 level or higher.
