TL;DR
Supervisor, Quality Control (Manufacturing Quality): Managing eNCS issuance, on-hold and off-hold controls, QC/QA coordination, and quality improvement projects in a large-scale manufacturing environment with an accent on accurate quality data, troubleshooting, and yield improvement. Focus on identifying potential escapees, assessing rework, training technicians, and minimizing on-hold time through timely process controls.

Location: Onsite in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

  • Track eNCS issuance across operations and categories, and manage on-hold/off-hold actions.
  • Coordinate with QC and QA engineers to ensure accurate, timely holds and prompt releases.
  • Alert QA when parts have shipped during an on-hold period and identify potential escapees.
  • Guide and train technicians to collect accurate supporting data for troubleshooting.
  • Review rework data and off-hold assessments with QC and QA teams.
  • Attend production and quality meetings and drive QC improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4–7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of testing and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and related software applications.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
