Technician 2, Production (Manufacturing)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia; onsite work in a cleanroom with rotating 12-hour shifts and cross-plant support as required.

What you will do

• Perform DET Guzik and QMT testing while meeting test criteria and turnaround requirements.
• Compile and upload test data to Online SPC and maintain test requests and tracking documentation.
• Conduct tester conversion buyoff, troubleshooting, and head changes.
• Compile data packages for NPI, SMO, Time Slice, and other engineering requests.
• Manage reference and head issuance, inventory, screening, and reference generation.
• Communicate test information during shift handovers and maintain MRE lab 7S and safety standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent technical certification.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with machine operation, data collection, and analytical work preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Effective teamwork, relationship-building, and cross-functional communication skills with Production, Process, Yield, and Quality teams.
• Availability for onsite cleanroom work and rotating 12-hour shifts is required.

Nice to have

• Experience creating Excel macros.
