Health and Safety Manager (Data Center)

Location: Remote within the United States; based in Dallas, Texas, with travel required 25% of the time

What you will do

• Lead health and safety compliance across hirify.global facilities and maintain alignment with laws, regulations, EHS policies, and company standards.
• Develop, implement, and update health and safety standards, guidelines, procedures, and workforce training programs.
• Conduct site inspections, assessments, risk analyses, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Recommend and coordinate preventive measures, corrective actions, and operational controls with site and cross-functional teams.
• Track, analyze, and report work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Manage third-party consultants, regulatory documentation, EHS management system activities, and interactions with regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least two years of experience in a health and safety or similar role.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• Experience evaluating operations against OSHA regulations and consensus standards such as NFPA and ANSI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain health and safety complexities to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Safety certifications.
• Experience in data centers or construction environments.
• Experience with Job Hazard Analysis, electrical safety, and lockout/tagout programs.
• Knowledge of facilities management, engineering, and construction.
• Experience working with regulatory authorities on health and safety issues.
