What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain software controlling the computer's operating system, hardware, and other systems software.
• Provide Mainframe operating system platform programming and DBDC subsystem programming support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) discussions.
• Design and implement cutting-edge technology to ensure security and system reliability.
• Provide ongoing technical and operational guidance to professional work teams.
• Define objectives and manage resources for projects on a national or international level.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C, and C++.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with operating systems including Linux, UNIX, or z/OS.
• Must be based in Mexico City, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetView, SysView, FTP, SFTP, Axway CFT, Connect: Direct, VIPA, or DVIPA.
• Experience working within a complex GDPS environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
