Associate Principal Engineer - InfraOps Active Directory (Azure)

What you will do

• Administer Windows Server and applicable Linux environments, including configuration, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Provision and operate Azure infrastructure and services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, backup, site recovery, monitoring, and applicable PaaS components.
• Support Active Directory, identity, DNS, hybrid connectivity, legacy infrastructure, and on-premises VMware or Hyper-V environments.
• Handle complex infrastructure incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, maintain monitoring and backup processes, and validate recoverability through restore testing.
• Automate operational workflows with PowerShell and command-line tools while contributing to runbooks, documentation, deployments, and lifecycle initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong networking skills.
• Microsoft Active Directory administration experience.
• Experience with security logging and analytics.
• Experience with VMware.
• Azure and Windows administration experience.
• Ability to follow ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, and request processes and collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, end-user services, and vendor teams.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification (AZ-104) or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification (AZ-800/AZ-801) or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Azure Security Engineer certification (AZ-500) or equivalent security and vulnerability management experience.
• ITIL Foundation, VMware Certified Professional, or equivalent service management and hybrid infrastructure experience.
