What you will do

• Build, test, deploy, and scale backend services within a microservices architecture using Go.
• Develop new banking applications and shared platform services as part of the company's Technology Modernization Strategy.
• Collaborate daily with DevOps engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts across the organization.
• Analyze banking-related domains to understand how architectural changes impact products.
• Partner with customer support teams to diagnose and resolve technical defects.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of professional programming experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in backend development specifically using Go (Golang).
• Must be based within 70 miles of one of the specified hub locations.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship (H-1B, PERM, etc.) now or in the future.
• Ability to successfully complete a coding challenge.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, or training Large Language Models (LLM).
• Experience with Cloud Spanner, event-based distributed systems, and IaC.
• Proficiency with CI pipelines, observability, and monitoring tools.
