What you will do

• Contribute to Connect codebases and develop the Connector ecosystem.
• Design AI solutions to evolve how end-users interact with streaming data.
• Build and design connect-in-the-cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with Cloud and Core engineering teams to ensure stability and zero-downtime upgrades.
• Maintain system resilience and observability to ensure >99.9% uptime.
• Participate in the on-call escalation chain and improve system quality of life.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency and professional experience with Go.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, and parallelism.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of stream processing principles.
• Ability to work effectively within a 100% distributed engineering team.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• Experience building SaaS platforms.
• Experience operating streaming platforms as a user or provider.
• Cloud engineering or UI experience.
