What you will do

• Lead the design, prototyping, and implementation of high-impact backend features and tools.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Golang, influencing internal standards and the external community.
• Architect large-scale distributed microservices and implement consensus algorithms (e.g., Raft).
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide architectural guidance to drive technical delivery.
• Leverage AI coding assistants and LLMs to accelerate development and improve automation.

Requirements

• 11+ years of industry experience with deep knowledge of Go (preferred), Java, C, or C++.
• Expert understanding of symmetric/asymmetric encryption, PKI, TLS, and secure coding principles.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux/UNIX system administration.
• Proficiency in asynchronous programming, concurrency models, and API design (REST/gRPC).
• Must have the ability to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as KVM, QEMU, or libvirt.
