TL;DR

Team Leader - Account Management (SaaS): Leading the account management team to drive customer adoption, retention, and account expansion with an accent on talent development and strategic growth. Focus on coaching team members, optimizing revenue generation through data-driven insights, and cultivating deep relationships with key clients.

Location: Must be based within commuting distance of the Chicago hub (Hybrid: 3 days in-person)

Salary: $100K – $110K base + $32K commission (Total OTE: $132K)

What you will do

  • Lead the Account Management team, conducting weekly 1:1s and providing personalized coaching to achieve targets.
  • Cultivate deep relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor to drive adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify strategic account growth opportunities using data-driven insights to optimize revenue generation.
  • Develop and implement training programs to upskill the team and onboard new sales professionals.
  • Track team performance against KPIs and align sales strategies with emerging market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall business growth and customer retention.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, ideally within the travel or SaaS industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving team success.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Must be based within commuting distance of the Chicago hub.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience in creating and delivering training materials.
  • Curiosity and intentionality regarding the use of AI tools to improve productivity.
