TL;DR

Senior People Partner (Fintech): Designing the next version of the organization to be AI-enabled and global with an accent on organizational design and workforce strategy. Focus on partnering with business leaders to translate strategy into organizational outcomes and building high-performing teams.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in Burnaby, BC, Canada (requires 2–3 days per week in office)

Salary: $116,000 – 145,000

What you will do

  • Partner with leaders to translate business priorities into people strategies that improve organizational performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Analyze people data to recommend improvements in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Lead talent management initiatives, including talent reviews, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Advise leaders on employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and policy interpretation.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and L&D to deliver integrated solutions supporting business goals.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced People team members to increase overall team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive HR, People Partner, or HRBP experience, preferably in high-growth technology or fintech environments.
  • Must be based in Burnaby, BC, Canada to support the Vancouver site.
  • Proven experience in organizational design, workforce planning, and managing change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach leaders and navigate complex employee relations.
  • Data-driven approach to diagnosing challenges and driving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people decisions to business outcomes.
