TL;DR

Director, People Business Partner (Fintech): Driving large-scale organizational change and leadership development for the Engineering organization with an accent on organizational design and talent architecture. Focus on coaching senior executives, implementing strategic workforce planning, and leveraging people analytics to drive high performance.

Location: Remote (Canada). Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Salary: $199,000 - $279,000 CAD per year

What you will do

  • Lead large-scale organizational change initiatives within the Engineering Org, managing transitions and maximizing employee buy-in.
  • Drive leadership development, executive coaching, and succession planning to ensure a robust leadership pipeline.
  • Oversee strategic alignment of talent development, career mobility, and learning programs.
  • Improve organizational effectiveness and workforce experience through targeted interventions and people analytics.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, coaching them on complex people challenges and leadership capabilities.
  • Collaborate with People COEs to reinforce a high-performance culture and promote an inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in People-related roles, including 5+ years as a PBP or similar.
  • 4+ years of experience as a people manager.
  • Prior experience partnering with Technology or Engineering organizations is required.
  • Proven track record of coaching leaders through performance management and employee relations.
  • Strong project management, change management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate vision into actionable strategies in fast-paced, scaling environments.
