Salary: $190K – $210K + Equity

What you will do
- Define and drive the long-term vision and roadmap for the design system, balancing immediate needs with platform investments.
- Establish governance, contribution models, and decision-making frameworks for the organization.
- Mentor a team of designers and partner with engineering to ensure scalable, production-ready components.
- Explore how AI transforms design workflows, connecting design tooling, code generation, and AI-assisted development.
- Lead complex initiatives from strategy through execution and contribute directly to component architecture and guidelines.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience with significant ownership of design systems.
- Proven experience leading or managing design systems teams.
- Deep expertise in component architecture, design tokens, and accessibility.
- Strong ability to prioritize high-impact work and influence across functions.
- Experience partnering closely with frontend engineering leadership.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Storybook and modern design system tooling.
- Background in design engineering or highly technical product environments.
- Experience with AI-assisted design or agent-driven workflows.
- Experience building systems in high-growth startup environments.
