Visual Designer (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Bellevue, WA; Menlo Park, CA; or New York, NY offices with 3 days per week in-person attendance.

Salary: $150,000 – $225,000 USD (based on location zone).

What you will do

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure visual consistency across the product suite.
• Design and evolve core design language elements including icons, color schemes, and UI components.
• Support high-impact product launches with strong visual storytelling and craft.
• Evolve the internal design system to support new aesthetics, functionality, and AI integration.
• Advocate for design excellence and provide mentorship through critique and best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and evolving scalable design systems in a product environment.
• Deep expertise in visual design, including typography, layout, color, and composition.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across teams.
• Mastery of design tools such as Figma.
• Must be able to work on-site at least 3 days per week in Bellevue, Menlo Park, or New York.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI design tools such as MidJourney, Lovable, or Magic Patterns.
• Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments.
